Privacy Policy

Covers the Prism Seller website, the web app and the “Prism Seller Sync” Chrome extension.

Who we are

Prism Seller is operated by Spaweval Technologies Pvt. Ltd., which decides how your data is used and is responsible for it under this policy (the “data fiduciary” under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

What Prism Seller is

A settlement-audit tool for Meesho sellers. You upload — or let the extension collect — reports from your own Meesho supplier panel, and Prism Seller works out each order's status, what you should have been paid, what you were paid, returns, claims and profit.

What we store

  • Your account: name, email and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).
  • The 6-digit code we email when you sign up, to confirm the address is yours — only as a hash, deleted within a day — and the time your email was confirmed.
  • The reports you upload or the extension collects: Meesho order, payment, return and ticket exports. We keep the data read from them (order numbers, products, prices, settlement amounts and, in some reports, the customer's state or PIN code as Meesho provides them), not the files themselves.
  • Your stores (name and Meesho supplier ID), purchase prices you enter, label groups and settings.
  • Each month's GST report from Meesho, as Meesho sent it, with the totals read from it (Reports → GST).
  • Sign-in sessions (a random token, stored only as a hash), with the device type and IP address shown to you under Account → Devices.
  • Billing records: plans bought, your wallet and every credit movement, invoices, and the billing details you enter (business name, GSTIN, address).
  • Messages you send through our Contact, Demo or Support forms: your name, email, phone (if given), business name and message.

Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details go to Razorpay directly; we never see or store them. We receive only the payment's reference and status, which we keep with your invoice.

The Chrome extension

  • It only works when you are logged in to the Meesho supplier panel in the same browser, and only asks Meesho for the reports you tick (or, with Live sync on, the same reports three times a day). It uses your existing Meesho session inside your own browser. It never sees, asks for or stores your Meesho password.
  • It reads your Meesho supplier ID and account name from the panel to put the files in the right store.
  • Report files — and, once a month, the GST report — go straight to your own Prism Seller account.
  • It keeps, in Chrome's storage on your computer: your Prism Seller sign-in token, which accounts have Live sync on, and the progress of the current run. Signing out of the extension, or ending the session under Account → Devices, removes its access.
  • On Prism Seller's own pages it answers one kind of request: the Upload page's "Fetch with the extension" button asking it to collect a month of reports for one of your stores. It does nothing else there.
  • It does not read other websites, your browsing history or anything else in Chrome.

The assistant (Insights → Ask)

When you ask the assistant a question, the question — and the order rows it needs to answer it (at most a few dozen at a time: order number, date, product, size, state, status and amounts) — are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, to write the answer, under Anthropic's commercial terms for businesses that use its service. Your files are never sent, and nothing is sent unless you ask.

How the data is used

Only to show you your own figures, to bill you, and to answer your messages. We do not sell, rent or share your data and do not use it for advertising. The one place it meets other sellers' is the anonymous comparison on the Insights page: each store's rates over its last 90 days (returns, RTO, cancellations, and the share of a sale Meesho pays) are put next to other sellers' to show the middle of the range — never names, orders or amounts, and only when at least five other sellers are in it. Nobody else with a Prism Seller account can see your stores. Our team can open an account only to help with a support request, and every such session is marked as an admin session in your device list.

Cookies and analytics

We use the cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your selected store. We also use Google Analytics to see which pages and features help sellers — with its cookies only if you allow them when we ask. It receives the pages opened (addresses cleaned of order and invoice numbers) and actions such as signing up or buying a plan, never your name, email, phone, GSTIN, stores, orders or reports. Google processes this for us under its own terms; advertising features are off. No advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy, where you can also change your choice.

Where it is kept, and for how long

On our servers (Render, Singapore region) over encrypted connections. Your data is kept while your account exists. Files you remove in Upload history take their data out of your store; deleting a store deletes everything under it; deleting your account deletes all of it. Invoices and payment records may be kept longer where the law requires us to keep accounting records.

Your rights

You can see and correct your account details under Account, export your figures from the Reports pages, and delete your data at any time. For anything else — a copy of your data, or a deletion we should do for you — write to us.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
